  • Pros: Kid hadn't hit all year, strike outs, swinging at the stars with much heavier bats not his size. ball hit his hands twice making him gunshy since he was choking up so far. New bat , practicing several times, got confidence back, first game after the rain, a little tyke second smallest on team, but tough from battling 2 yr older brother. ropes a double over all out fielders, knocking in two runs. A close game 8-6, we're home team and losing. Last at bat with two on game tied, who's at bat. Little man , player of the game getting game ball, rips one past third, run scores, Walk Off game over. Cant wait to watch him with his new bat.

  • In a previous question you answered this bat is legal for use in coach pitch by leagues playing with USA rules. I was told by a Dixie rep that Teeball stamped bats would not be allowed in coach pitch because the bat states only use with tee balls. Can you confirm this bat is legal for coach pitch in Dixie.

  • Tee ball bats are only 2 1/4" diameter, so if your child plays tee ball I'd use a tee ball bat that's USA approved. If your child plays in coach pitch, I'd use a 2 5/8" diameter junior big barrel coach pitch bat that's USA approved. As far as approval goes, I would contact your league coordinator, because they're the ones in charge of providing an approved or banned list of bats for use in that respective league. The USA Baseball stamp approves for Dixie, along with Little League, Pony, AABC, Babe Ruth, etc.

  • Jacob, Thank you for your question. If you are playing USA rules (Little League, Pony, Cal Ripken, etc..) this bat will be legal. If you do not follow the USA sanctioned rules we do recommend speaking with your league director or league president.
