Why did they release the 2020 model so soon? Is there a difference between the 19/20 Mercy?

The Mercy is released once per year, usually with the same design but just an updated paint scheme and minor improvements.

Will this bat be available in 27?

No, the Mercy is usually only made in 34/25 and 34/26. If you really want a 27, I'd suggest checking out the 2019 DEMARINI FLIPPER SLOWPITCH SOFTBALL BAT MID LOADED ASA WTDXFLS-19 or one of the other DeMarini models that are available in that sizing.
