CLOSEOUT 2016 DeMarini CF8 BBCOR Baseball Bat -3oz WTDXCFC-16

All-new for 2016 is the DeMarini CF8, crafted with a 100% Composite Design and a 2-Piece Bat Construction. The Paradox +Plus Composite Barrel gives this CF8 max pop with a lighter swing weight, giving you faster swing speed and improved bat control while going through the hitting zone. The D-Fusion 2.0 Handle is going to reduce that unwanted vibration by taking that energy and redirecting it right back to the sweet spot, which in turn causes a trampoline effect within the barrel walls that will significantly increase the distances of your hits. The Low Pro End Cap is going to give the CF8 an optimized feel, while also combining with the barrel to give off a sweet contact sound at the moment of impact. This CF8 also has the BBCOR Certified stamp, legalizing this bat for High School & NCAA play.

  • Pros: this cf8 broke in so quick for a composite bat. it has nice pop, haven't felt ANY vibration yet, and the new graphics look sick. i think the new d-fusion thing really is improved over last years cf7.

  • Pros: seriously love this bat, worth every penny if you really are looking to perform well. i loved the cf6, liked the cf7, but this cf8 seems to be just like the cf6 in terms of feel and pop, except the cf8 i would give the edge because the vibration is literally non-existent. the grip is nice too, but i re-wrapped with lizard skins because that's what i prefer. the paint job is sick too. 15/10 rating!
  • Cons: absolutely nothing

  • Pros: I have had the CF6,CF7 now the CF8. I love this bat and would not pick any other BBCOR Bat. My bat is starting to break in after a weekend in the cage and the ball is flying. For a BBCOR bat it is pretty balanced.

  • Pros: The 2016 CF8 BBCOR is the best bat out. I have used the Prime 916 and the Mako BBCOR and I get zero vibration from the CF8 and a little with the Mako and almost none with the Prime 916. The CF8 barrel is perfectly balanced, while the Mako feels too light. The 916 BBCOR is balanced well, too, but the pop off the CF8 is awesome and the best of any 2016 BBCOR bat. Durability has been perfect so far. No signs of cracking or spider webbing. I love the DeMarini grip. It is not super thick and not too thin.

  • Pros: I bought this bat at home run park and it was hot straight out of the wrapper. Almost no break in time was required. I love this bat and will probably use another bat again.

  • Hi I am confused in which bat to buy. Which bat has power or worth buy it. the demarini 2015 voodoo or the cf8 2015?
  • Asked by sergio
  • It will come down to personal preference. The Voodoo is an alloy barreled bat that is slightly end loaded or top heavy while the CF8 is a composite barreled bat. Both are top quality and will both perform well.

  • is this the greatest bat 2016 in your opinion?
  • Asked by frank (hotdog)
  • The 2016 DeMarini CF8 is a high quality bat. When it comes to top of the line bats, it will ultimately come down to preference. What feels good in your hands? Do you like a 1 piece aluminum bat or a 2 piece composite? Do you have a brand loyalty? The DeMarini CF8 BBCOR baseball bat is a great quality bat.

  • what's the difference between this 2016 cf8 bbcor and the new 2016 mako bbcor?
  • Asked by Kyle
  • Great question, Kyle. The CF8 and Mako are both 2-piece bats with 100% composite designs. DeMarini uses Paradox +Plus composite in the handle and the barrel, while featuring the vibration-dampening D-Fusion 2.0 handle with the CF8. Easton uses Thermo Composite Technology in the handle and the barrel, while featuring the CXN barrel-to-handle connection piece to optimize the bat and also reduce vibration with the Mako. The DeMarini CF8 BBCOR has a great combo of balance and power, but is made with more of a balanced swing weight. The Mako BBCOR actually comes in 4 different models - the balanced Mako, the end-loaded Mako XL, the balanced Mako Torq, and the end-loaded Mako Torq XL. It gives you options as to whether you want balanced or end-loaded, torq handle or no torq handle. Easton's hyperskin bat grip on the Makos and torq tac grip on the Mako Torqs feels similar to lizard skins, while DeMarini's grip on the CF8 is nice and tacky but more on the basic side. Either way, CF8 or Mako, you really can't go wrong.
