CLOSEOUT 2016 DeMarini CF8 Junior Big Barrel Baseball Bat 2 3/4" -11oz WTDXCFY-16

All-new for 2016 is the DeMarini CF8, crafted with a 100% Composite Design and a 2-Piece Bat Construction. The Paradox +Plus Composite Barrel gives this CF8 max pop with a lighter swing weight, giving you faster swing speed and improved bat control while going through the hitting zone. The D-Fusion 2.0 Handle is going to reduce that unwanted vibration by taking that energy and redirecting it right back to the sweet spot, which in turn causes a trampoline effect within the barrel walls that will significantly increase the distances of your hits. The Low Pro End Cap is going to give the CF8 an optimized feel, while also combining with the barrel to give off a sweet contact sound at the moment of impact. DeMarini also supplies this CF8 with the RCK Knob, which is designed to fit each person perfectly so your hands can stay fast & comfortable no matter how long your BP sessions last. This CF8 also has the Thumbprint USSSA 1.15 BPF Stamp of Approval, legalizing this bat for baseball play.

  • Pros: Just FYI. The 26in/15 oz. weighs in at 17.48 oz. Weigh 4 other alloy bats we have and they weigh in almost exactly to advertised weight. +/- 1/10 of an oz.

  • I have read that the drop weight on the CF8 is not accurate. Off by as much as 2.5oz. What is the true weight of the CF8 Junior big barrel 27" 16oz?
  • Asked by Scott
  • All bats are weighed by the manufacturer before end caps, knobs, and grip tape and will naturally run heavier than the listed weight.

  • Which bat is better the 2016 DeMarini CF8 Junior big barrel bat or the 2016 Easton Mako junior big barrel bat?
  • Asked by Luis
  • It will come down to personal preference. Both bats are two piece composite both using high end composite material. Both bats are USSSA approved with a 2 3/4" diameter barrel. It ultimately comes down to brand preference.

  • What is the break in period for this bat?
  • Asked by Luis
  • Due to this bat being so new, we cannot specify the break in period of this bat. On average a break in period for any bat is anywhere from 100 to 200 hits. With this bat being a 2 3/4" diameter barrel in a drop 11, it will have thinner walls requiring less of a break in.

  • Aside from being an ounce lighter, are there any differences in the construction or performance of this Jr. Big Barrel vs. the Senior League -10 CF8? I am trying to decide between the 28" -10 Sr. League and 28" -11 Jr. Big Barrel...
  • Asked by Erick
  • The Jr. Big Barrel Bats are made for a smaller child using less force or for the mid compression balls. Essentially they are the same bat with a one ounce difference and different graphics.
