  • Pros: Stupid hot bat for the price. Pop was good right out of the wrapper but got better every time I used it. Took about 60 swings to break in before I was confident enough to use it in games.
  • Cons: Taper. I took off the grip. I highly recommend adding a lizard skin grip instead.

  • Pros: Great feel with the end load. Not too much weight but just enough to be able to tell it's there. The bat has plenty of pop with not much break-in. I also like the flared heel at the end of the grip. My first game with the bat I hit well, which says a lot about the confidence level with this bat.
  • Cons: Not sure on the rough barrel finish yet, will have to hit it some more to see if I like that or not.

  • Pros: Hard swings the ball will knuckle, Softer swings the ball will slice. After some swings the barrel seems to be forgiving. I have a powerful swing so I can use almost any bat to hit it out with, this bat doesn't have the distance as others do.
  • Cons: If your looking for a bat to hit a JAACK with this isn't it. this bat adds slice to balls. It still sounds like a "Z"... Tinging or glass shattering noise.

  • Pros: Sounds like an aluminum bat with a ton of pip when you hit that sweet spot. First at bat...3 run shot left center and felt no vibration what do ever.
  • Cons: Thought I could retape with Lizard skin but when I undid the grip the bottom part fell apart so don't have the comfortable bottom towards end anymore

  • Pros: Great bat with good bat control and pop right out of the wrapper. Good grip which allows for good bat control and speed to the ball. I am partial to it, but I really like the comfort of the built in tappered handle. Traditional LS sound off the bat!!!
  • Cons: Stiff with a small sweet spot out of the wrapper, but livens up after you begin breaking it in.

  • Pros: Hot right out of the package. Definitely a different feel and sound that takes getting used to, but once you dial it in... holy crap. My first tapered handle, but I like it. Definitely comfortable, and no shock.
  • Cons: None. Although I have heard from others that the 3 piece design starts to loosen after a while. Guess I will find out.

  • Pros: Bat has a great feel and has decent pop out of the wrapper, definitely takes at least 100 swings for this bat to start to get better. I'm a line drive hitter and this bat has me going 4 for 4 or 5 for 5 game in and game out..... Highly recommend the balanced version for all the line drive hitters out there, you wont be disappointed.
  • Cons: None that I have found so far ..... only con would be for the defense facing this bat, they hate it :)

  • Pros: Bat has good pop right out of the box. For an end loaded bat it was almost more of a balance between loaded and balanced, which I actually find to be very nice.
  • Cons: The only con is that the base of the grips are a little thicker than I prefer.

  • Pros: HOT HOT HOT. My first bat since my louisville TPS(98) iI stopped playing in 2005 and started back 3wks ago. My TPS had no ASA stamp. I wanted to stay true to what i knew and IT DID NOT FAIL! Even though its end loaded it isn't top heavy. 2 bombs and a smoking line drive! You cannot go wrong for the price!!
  • Cons: None thus far, it has only been one gm.

  • Pros: My team usually swings Miken bats, but WOW this bat was really impressive right out of the wrapper. Legit pop and speed from the bat. First 4 pitches the bat saw were 3 homers and a line drive to the fence 300. Get this bat for the price. Dual sanctioned as well.

  • Pros: Waited 2 months because I was hesitant about buying online but the price was great and I'm glad I did. Shipped on time with no problems. No game use yet but have about 100 swings in and this bat has pop. Outfielders backed up deep and even when they turned and ran back the ball was still way over their heads. No vibrations and feels great off the bat. Noticed some line drives slicing which made it more difficult to field
  • Cons: Grit finish does mark up pretty easy but doesn't seem to effect ball flight. Not a con for me but those who like a big knob won't like the taper at the bottom, but I choke up an inch so it's perfect for me.

  • Pros: I really liked how this felt the first time I swung it. I am more of a power hitter and having it end loaded really helped me. I've hit several homeruns already with this, I did break it in slightly off of a tee. Extremely happy with this purchase and the price on this site is significantly cheaper than amazon.
  • Cons: Will take in some time to break it in but did not take me many swings.

  • Pros: I bought this bat for my wife. She came back from her game totally stoked! First hit with this bat was a home run! Eight other team members used it for that first game. Four more home runs and brutal grounders. They won that game 22-4. My wife was leaving on vacation the next day and her team begged her to leave the bat with them! Super fast swing, hard impact resulting in extremely difficult balls to field. And as a side note the customer service for Cheapbats is awesome. Would totally recommend them!

  • Pros: This bat doesn't feel like an endload when you swing it, and the handle on this bat has a great feel to it!

  • Pros: This bat is awesome. Played a couple games with it. Love the sounds. The whole team swings this bat nice and smooth with a definite end load. I bought this bat because of the price and reviews here at cheapbats. I had other people tell me that it was not good. Maybe true for some but I love this bat. I will probably only swing Louisville from now on.
  • Cons: ZERO!! I changed the grips to lizard skin ( I just like that feel better). This bat has a slight taper at the end of the handle, this is just in the grip tape. If you take off the tape and switch it out the taper is gone. This is not a bad thing just FYI

  • Pros: Swung a 28oz and it felt and performed Very nice. |The bat we had gamed was brand new and performed very well.. We use 44/375's in ASA and the ball jumped off the bat and over the fence. Some people do not like that "metal clank" like sound that this bat makes but I actually like it. This is one of the few bats that I have swung that was truly hot out the wrapper. Louisville Slugger bats are underrated because of the Miken/Worth hype. For ASA, you will not be disappointed. Have a nice taper on the handle as well.

  • Pros: I wouldn’t say it’s hot out of the wrapper but it’s definitely a solid composite bat with a lot of potential. I’m not a big hitter but feel it’s easier to hit the ball than my TPX. No complaints and look forward to this thing getting hot.
  • Cons: End loaded bat. Not terrible but my best hits have been with the last 6 inches of the bat. It’s new and hope it gets hot soon.

  • Pros: I don't know if you can say that this bat is hot out of the wrapper, but it's not far from it. I bought the bat, took a little bit of batting practice and wasn't too impressed. I got maybe 45-50 cuts on it in batting practice. I just used it in my first game and was pleasantly surprised. First hit was a triple. The bat has pretty good pop overall. I'm excited to see how it performs once fully broken in. Certainly worth the price that the bat is selling at now ($135.) I also think it's worth mentioning that even though I have the 26 oz (only size left in stock) it doesn't feel any lighter than my other 28oz bat. So what I'm getting at is that if you're hesitant to buy because there's only 26oz left, I wouldn't let that stop you. Weight feels good, even though I typically swing a 28oz bat.

  • Pros: I bought this bat because of the price and looks of this bat. When I do hit it on the sweet spot it performs great. Also the grip at the end of the bat is a nice addition.
  • Cons: I am one that doesn’t believe in breaking in a bat. But, with this one I might. It has been tough to get used to the sound and feel of this bat. Also the paint is not durable I have scratches and chips near the cap already in just 2 games.

  • Can this bat be used in cold weather if game softballs are kept warm?
  • Asked by G Money
  • You can, but it is never ideal for any composite bat to be used in cold weather. The odds of your composite barrel cracking increases, and that's not just for this bat, but all composite barreled bats.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • How does this bat compare to the z2000 camo print bats?
  • Asked by Francisco
  • This will be a 3 piece bat while the Z2000 is a 2 piece bat. If you are looking for something similar to the Z2000 we recommend the Super Z as that is the bat that replaced the Z2000. The Z4 will perform as well as the Z2000 or the Super Z and will come down to personal preference. The Z4 will have more flex than the Super Z.
