  • Pros: Smooth swing. Feels a bit heavier than stamped weight. Requires great batting form. Reminds me of stick ball. Awesome bat for the reformed baseball, now softball players. Swings fast, easy to get the bat around.
  • Cons: Feels heavier than stamped weight, small sweet spot. Takes time to break in.

  • Pros: Great feel and good pop right away. Play in usssa and even some of the guys were talking about it being a great all around bat even for asa/usssa bat.
  • Cons: grip feels like it will not hold up long but does feel fine on the hands.

  • Pros: I had to try this bat for this price. considering I usually pay 4 x the price of this bat for just one new bat I couldn't pass it up. I'm actually impressed with the bat. I think back to the original Salvo from Easton and the LX.0 blue bat, and the Ronin line (I bought the 1 piece as well) are holding their own. I have gotten several teammates to buy one of these after swinging mine.

  • Pros: I put 100 50% swings on it with worth BP balls to break it in. After that i worked in some Hot Dots and let it rip. Let me tell you, this bat does have pop. Im not a bomber, but the line drives i was hitting were lazers. My brother sent about 10 of 20 hacks over the fence. Cant wait to put this bat into game time. Im very happy with my purchase, especially at the price point.
  • Cons: Im not a huge fan of the stock grip, but the warranty voids if it is changed. It is not bad enough for me to change it out and void the warranty. It is the only part of the bat im not a huge fan of.

  • Pros: swings easy through the zone. I'm a smaller contact player and had a couple of nice line drives. Some of the bigger guys were smoking the balls into the outfield gaps and everyone loved using this bat. Good bat for the price.
  • Cons: the ball seems to rub off on the bat, creating "hit marks." so will have to clean/maintain it.

  • Pros: Coming from a guy who’s only been playing slow pitch soft ball for about 3 years now. This bat has been great!! Fairly quiet when you hit the ball just right, and gives me a nice lift and distance. Our best player on the team seems to like it a lot!
  • Cons: Don’t know enough about bats to have a con. It’s been a great bat!

  • Pros: Great bat. It seemed like after a few innings of majority of the team swinging it, it came to life. Last night I was hitting rockets with it and it's only been about 6 games since I bought it. I'll be purchasing a 27 oz. as well, I like it so much

  • Pros: After about 150 cuts, the bat heats up.... a ton! I'm 5'6" and only 165lbs, and I was hitting dingers on a 320+ft high school baseball field my second time around in the bat's first BP session. All the balls used were ASA (COR ranged from .44-.52, mainly .52) in about 80 degree weather and high humidity. I've swung dozens of other ASA bats (Freak's, Juggy's, Legit's, Z's) and this one is not too far off from their performance, so far. You cannot beat this bat's performance for the price!
  • Cons: The bat currently has about 200 cuts on it so I can't speak for it's durability.

  • Pros: I having been playing on the competitive circuit for 8 years now. Class B through Class D and love getting bats like this on discount. I bought this bat back in May. I kept on taking cuts and it did not feel like it was breaking in. I went down to the diamond next to my house and twice a week I would slam 50-75 balls into the fence to try to break the barrel in. Finally last week the barrel broke in. Between 400-500 cuts it took. I am now launching the ball over 300 feet to all fields like I can with my other bats and hitting gappers with great exit velocity as well. If you are patient and let this bat open up like I did. You will be very happy, the ball makes no sound coming off the barrel and is so smooth. Thank you for the great product Easton. 4 of my teammates now swing it with great success.
  • Cons: Break in time. Took me almost 2 months Grip sucks, put lizard skin on and it sealed the deal!

  • Pros: I can't say enough good things about this bat. Been using it for two softball seasons and it is a major upgrade from what I had been using previously. Awesome sweet spot, great feel at contact, less vibration with two-piece construction and decent power. Ever since I've switched to this bat I've been absolutely crushing the ball in my rec league. Outstanding product at this price point.

  • Pros: Smooth swing, generous sweet spot, lots of power after it gets worked in (30-50 hits). My first purchase was for the 27oz and 28oz. Discovered the 27oz felt best so I bought 2 more for down the road. Amazing bat for the price!!!

  • Pros: This bat has good pop and good exit velocity. Also is a very balanced bat which i love! Another guy on my team has since purchased one of these bats and 3 other guys use mine. Very very good bat and especially for the price
  • Cons: This bat took me a little over 300 cuts to break in, but once it broke in. It had an immediate impact on my game and really started letting balls rifle all over field. I also do not like the grip and put 1.8mm lizard skin on and that solved the problem.

  • Pros: Saw other reviews about breaking this bat in. First time using it I was crushing it and don’t even feel a thing. If it’s true about it’s better when broken in, I am very excited to see what’s to come. 100% satisfied great bang for the buck.
  • Cons: Other people want to use it instead of their own bat.

  • Pros: Opens up around 50-75 hits. Good sweet spot, ball travels when connected well. Hitting them well over the fence.
  • Cons: Nothing to do with feel or performance but appearance wise, seems to get very scuffed up easily compared to any other bat I've used. For the price, buy this bat.

  • Pros: First swing was over the fence. Couldn’t ask for a better bat, as soon as I started just swinging the bat to test the feel of it I knew it was going to be good after reading all the reviews on it. Best Easton bat I’ve batted with so far. This bat will boost your confidence and show off your power.
  • Cons: None so far. Bats been used for about 3 games only and can’t wait until it really breaks in.

  • I'm looking to replace my Raw Power Bryson Baker. It's the black/blue from 2014-2015. Would this be the correct replacement?
  • Asked by Eenz
  • The 2017 line of Easton bats actually had Bryson Baker bats, you can copy and paste this link to see what we have left of those . . . https://www.cheapbats.com/shop/closeout-2017-easton-bomb-squad-bryson-baker-slowpitch-softball-bat-usssa-balanced-sp17bbu-p-8971.html
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • is this bat similar to the power brigade line
  • Asked by eliasbek flores
  • Eliasbek Flores, Thank you for your question. The Easton Ronin (SP17R2UA) will be very similar to the Easton S1 Power Brigade bat as both are two piece designed bats both using full IMX composite throughout the bat and both having a huge 13.5" barrel. Easton also made the Ronin (SP12R1UA) which will be similar to the Easton S2 Power Brigade. This is the one piece composite version.
  • Answered by Kevin
  • I noticed that this bat has: an IMX barrel that is 13.5 inches long and is balanced. Is this similiar or even a repaint of the Easton B3 ASA??
  • Asked by 4xtra
  • It is very similar! However, the Stars and Stripes is a 1-piece while the B3.0 was a 2-piece. So they'll feel different. However, they're made with the same composite type and are both balanced, yes.
