  • Pros: Recieved bat today. My son and one other teamate used it at practice today and both kids killed the ball. Iâm impressed. Hot right out of the wrapper. Much more pop without alot of sound. No âtingâ . Both kids reported they loved the feel and pop. Both said they felt no sting. Double header over the weekend. Iâll report back...Nice
  • Cons: At this point none...bat is very solid and well built...

  • Is the alloy and acoustic alloy that will make a “ting”sound? Or will it be a dead thud sound like most other USA Bats.
  • Asked by Mark
  • Aluminum barreled bats will have a ping sound, while composite bats will sound different.

  • Does this meet Dizzy Dean 1.15 standard? It appears to be correct size for 62" 130 lb 12 YO boy.
  • Asked by Denny
  • Denny, I am not familiar with the "Dizzy Dean" association. This Techzilla is approved by USA Baseball and is approved for Little League, Pony, Babe Ruth, AABC, Cal Ripken, etc. The "1.15" you mention, do you mean USSSA 1.15 BPF? Because that's a different line of approved bats that are no longer legal for Little League, Pony, and all the above youth leagues I mentioned. I would contact your league coordinator for the approved/banned bat list for that respective league. As far as this bat goes, it's not about what height/weight the player is, because every player is different. I'd try some different bat sizes and assess swing speed and bat control and figure out what size is best.
