CLOSEOUT Louisville Slugger SUPER Z Slowpitch Softball Bat End Loaded USSSA SBSZ16U-E

Louisville Slugger constructs the SUPER Z Slowpitch Softball Bat as a 2-piece made out of 100% composite material, giving you great durability and limited vibration so you can maximize your potential at the plate! The Super Z has the Grit Blast finish on the 12" barrel, which is a sandpaper-like finish that will increase the spin on the softball, ultimately increasing the distances of your hits as the ball explodes off the barrel. The iST Technology makes the Super Z extra stiff, giving you a very sturdy-feel without excess flex as you swing through the hitting zone.

This particular Super Z slow-pitch softball bat is made with an end-loaded swing weight and is approved by USSSA, NSA and ISA softball associations. Get your Super Z today, right here at CheapBats.com! No Hassle Returns, Batisfaction Guaranteed!

  • Pros: Bat changed sounds about 50-60 swings into bp with a mix of .52 core balls and really hit another level. Fells like my og z2000 but definitely doesn't have the distance yet but it is a very solid stick. Much better than the z3000 and 4000 lines in my opinion.
  • Cons: Stock grip is too thick and not a fan of the sand paper barrel but that's just me.

  • Do the End Loaded bat really produce more distance over a balanced bat? Or is that just a myth?
  • Asked by Bonz
  • End Loaded bats do not have anymore pop than a balanced bat. End Loaded bats have more weight at the end of the barrel forcing a hitting to have a stronger top hand to get on top of the ball during their swing creating more back spin on the ball allowing for more distance. The exit speed of a ball on a balanced bat will be the same as that of an end loaded bat. Most power hitters are a little stronger than the average hitter thus are capable of using an end loaded bat, thus why more power hitters tend to use end loaded bats over balanced bats. It will ultimately come down to personal preference though. A home run can be hit with both end loaded or balanced bats if you have the capabilities as a hitter.

  • hi sr I play with a clincher softball can u recommend the best bat for distance don't care if the bat crack next day ... Thanks
  • Asked by Warlin
  • Warlin, It will all depend on the core and compression of the ball. Most clincher softballs are softer than other brands and work best with a harder ball. The alloy barrel bats tend to work best with the softer balls. Bats such as the DeMarini FS7, DeMarini Ultimate Weapon, the Easton Salvo Scandium, or the Easton S500.

  • What is the difference in the Super Z and Z-4000? Trying to decide between the 2. Thanks.
  • Asked by Scoop
  • The 2016 Louisville Slugger Super Z Slowpitch Softball Bat End Loaded USSSA SBZZ16U-E offers the iST handle that allows for a stiffer bat than the Z4000.

  • I play in a league that makes us use a 52 core 275 compression will the bat perform just as well with these balls?
  • Asked by Mayhem
  • If your league allows USSSA bats, then the Super Z should perform well. 52core softballs tend to be more flexible & bouncy (or "mushy"), so finding a bat with an end load helps get you some distance we these balls.
