  • Pros: Great pop, lots of life, Love the slim handle and the end weighting. Once you start to come around, the bat just wants to keep swinging, haven't gotten much in terms of sting on the palms either.
  • Cons: The knob is a bit small and feels like my hands may slip around it. but the biggest con is that I waited until it was ~65 degrees to swing this bat in a game, used it for one at bat and developed a 3 inch crack at the end of the barrel. This is the second raw steel this season that my team has cracked, I don't know if it has something to do with the balls our league uses, but its the 4th bat overall to crack for my team.

  • Pros: Great pop .. I have a lot of high end composite bats that I can't use in church league .. I got this bat and was very surprised at the way the ball jumped off the bat ... it felt like I was swinging a broken in Juggy or Z2000 ... Yes it has that kind of pop .. I was really surprised .. Demarini was great about replacing my broken bat .. their warranty is solid ..
  • Cons: Durability is an issue ... first ... you really need to be mindful of using the number guide at the end of the bat .. try to never hit the same spot twice in a row .. I managed to break my Raw Steel in 1 game ... 2 flat spots and a 4 inch crack .. sent it back to Demarini the very next day for a warranty return ... I don't recommend sharing this bat with your friends on your team .. this bat will likely not last long as a team bat .. especially if you have any real hitters ..
