DeMarini Steel Slowpitch Softball Bat End Loaded ASA USSSA WTDXSTL-18

Complete with the latest ZnX Alloy handle, the 2018 Steel brings you the power you demand in a single wall barrel design. There is no other softball bat that can compete with the raw capabilty of the Steel when it comes to single wall metal bats. If you play in a league that does not allow composite bats, your search has ended, the DeMarini Steel is the bat you need.

The ZnX represents a uniting of zinc to aluminum to produce a heat-treatable alloy that significantly increases the material strength and ultimately gives you a stiffer feel and less flex in the taper at the point of impact. The single wall barrel is made up of DeMarini's new, improved Carborized Seamless Drawn Steel material for better durability, better pop, and better performance than ever before! This Steel is also hot right out of the wrapper and game ready from day one! Get your Steel Slowpitch Softball Bat today, right here at CheapBats.com!

  • Pros: I have swung the 2016 Raw Steel for 2 years so I was eager to buy and try out the 2018 DeMarini Steel. The pop and performance is the same as the 2016, and if you know anything about the 2016 version you know that it is literally the best single wall alloy bat currently made. So this bat absolutely kills the ball for a metal bat. The difference is the 2018 is just a tad heavier and just a hair more end loaded. So take that for what it's worth. Same performance, about a half ounce heavier than the 2016 Raw Steel.

  • Pros: I am very pleased with the DeMarini Raw Steel for 2018. Grip is improved over the 2016 and seems like it will last longer. Still the same old Steel. It kills the ball.

  • Pros: Awesome bat. Lot of pop, no "break-in" time needed. As soon as you get this bat, it us ready to perform.
  • Cons: The grip is my one complaint. Loved the tackiness of it, but after 2 games, it was moving around and seperating, leaving gaps and balling up on itself. But I re-wrapped it, and still love it. Just my experience.

  • Pros: Pulled off the plastic walkingnup to the field and proceeded to hit for the cycle with opposite field bomb to top it off. We’ll see how week 2 goes. But hot out of the wrapper is an understatement.
  • Cons: I like a heavy bat. But if you’re not used to end load, go with lighter than you normally order.

  • Pros: The bat is beautiful. I have only hit with it a few days but a few balls seem to have traveled farther. The review request is too early in the season.
  • Cons: There isn’t anything I don’t like about the bat thus far.

  • Pros: I love that it is endloaded! Took it to a slow pitch batting cage and it was hot from the get go. Put 300 pitches on it and solid pops every time. Can’t wait to game it next Thursday in my coed league that only allows steel bats. Bar far the best steel bat you can buy. It pops off the barrel damn near like a composite bat. Love this thing! 34/28oz.

  • Pros: Seems to have good pop. The ball can still come off the bat fast for nice liners and hard grounders. Power guys can get good distance on fly balls.
  • Cons: Played 14 games with only 3-4 guys using the bat and the grip is sliding off.

  • Pros: My league won't let me swing a composite bat. Thought about aluminum, but decided on steel instead. Glad I did. Great pop, homer first game. A bit end heavier than composite, but not a problem.

  • Review by: Bob
  • Pros: Unbelievable action/pop from this bat!!! I have another (older) DiMarini 30oz bat and the improved response is drastic. I honestly thought/still kinda think this bat is illegal in ASA, USSSA, etc., just do to its explosive power. It has every certification so my assumption was incorrect, but I'm still having trouble believing it. I feel like I'm cheating with this bat, it is that good!!!
  • Cons: If you don't get your hands on this bat, you'll be sorry (especially if your opponent has one of these in their arsenal).!!!
