CLOSEOUT Marucci Cat 7 Junior Big Barrel Baseball Bat 2 3/4" -10oz MJBBC7

Carrying on the all-metal, one-piece Marucci Junior Big Barrel Bat tradition is the Cat 7! Featuring a patented AV2 anti-vibration knob that eliminates harsh sting on off-center hits, the Cat 7 from Marucci gives kids the balanced, traditional feel you want in their hands. The AZ4X aerospace-grade aluminum alloy offers incredible barrel response and all-season durability, while the bat's fine-tuned-barrel-end walls provide faster swing speeds and more improved bat control as the kids whip the Cat 7 through the hitting zone. This Cat 7 also features a ring-free barrel, which maximizes pop and performance right out of the wrapper. What's the difference between this Cat 7 JBB and the Cat 6 JBB? The Cat 7 has a 2x bigger sweet spot for more lethal hitting surface! Get your Cat 7 Junior Big Barrel Bat today, right here at CheapBats.com! No Hassle Returns, Batisfaction Guaranteed!

  • Pros: This is a solid bat. My older son uses the bigger Cat 7 for USSSA travel ball, and little brother likes to use the "same" bat as his big brother. I am a firm believer in metal bats for younger players. I have been at the field for a long time and been around bats a long time. The little guys do better with metal than composite. The ball just goes farther at this age when the bat is a little heavier. Composite is great for 9 year olds and up, but little guys I suggest metal as long as they are not late with their swing. If they are late I would look into lighter bats like a minus 12 ounce.

  • I know I will only get one year out of either the cat 7 Junior league bat and same goes foe The 2017 Easton Mako Beast junior league big barrel. Money is no question but what bat is going to give my 5yr old that plays on a 7u travel team, more pop off the bat. And largest sweet spot? Ive seen the cat 7 in action but not the Easton, durability is in question with cat 7 but I can return quickly since manufactured in my home town. Just want best for my advanced 5yr old that has no issues swinging the cat 7 25/15 of 26/16. What do you recommend?
  • Asked by GHarris
  • The Cat7 and Easton will have the same durability issues. Both bats will perform almost the same and it will ultimately come down to if you prefer Marucci or Easton.
