  • Pros: This bat is way better than the Elder from last year. The bat is hot out of the wrapper and works great in my 55 and older league.
  • Cons: The grip is horrendous

  • Pros: Hott out of the wrapper!!! But, it's an Easton.....break in process is slow. It allows the batter the opportunity to improve on base percentage as batting techniques improve....while the bat opens up more!!!! Great technology! !!

  • This bat has an IMX barrel and is known to have very solid durability..... VERY solid. With that said, would you say that the SALVO is MORE durable than the other Senior bats? Senior bats are known to break quicker than standard bats because of the thinner walled senior bats. Can you give us a ranking of senior bats in regards to durability (Miken Ultra II, Dudley series, Easton Salvo Senior, Demarini The One Senior, Combat Centenarian)
  • Asked by 4xtra
  • All of the bats listed will have the same durability. The factors that come into place when dealing with the durability of the bats are the compression of the balls, the weather, the amount of use, and the power in each swing.

  • has anyone hit this bat yet if so how does it compare to the dudley lightning

  • The 2015 Easton Salvo Senior Slowpitch Softball Bat SSUSA Balanced SP15SVSR has been hit and it's impressive for a 1-piece bat. The barrel is long and strong, but the balanced weighting still gives you great bat control and fast swing speed. The Salvo Senior compares to the Senior Dudley Lightning in the fact that they are both 100% composite, but the Salvo has a 13.5" barrel length & the Lightning has just a 13" barrel length. Also, the IMX composite used with the Salvo is a notch above the composite used with the Lightning.
