2012 Louisville Slugger Z1000 Slowpitch Softball Bat Balanced

The new 2012 Louisville Slugger Z1000 Slowpitch Softball Bat uses Louisville Sluggers LS-2X Composite technology, which brings new thinner high-strength and lightweight graphite fibers that allow them to reduce the wall thickness, creating better performance while maintaining durability. Thinner fibers allow use of more layers in the barrel for added strength, but with an overall wall that is thinner.

While maintaining handle stiffness, iST joins the barrel and handle together, providing players with a great solid feel and larger sweet spot. Unlike Slugger's competitors, iST features a solid connection between the handle and barrel, giving players maximum performance – even on inside hits. Vibration from a miss hit is absorbed before it reaches a player’s hands. Without the worry of sting or vibration from “off sweetspot hits,” a player can maintain acceleration through impact for increased and more consistent performance.

This bat is approved for play in ASA.
