This Bomb Squad softball bat has a 2-Piece Bat Construction and is crafted with a 100% IMX Composite Design. IMX is Easton's tried-and-true composite material that gives you an extended sweet spot, great performance, and incredible durability. The CXN barrel-to-handle piece works with the 29/32" SIC Black Carbon Composite Handle to maximize energy transfer for an optimized feel, while also eliminating vibration/sting from getting to your hands. The 1.2mm Hyperskin Bat Grip, an upgrade over last years gauze grip, has a nice tacky feel with the right amount of cushion. This Bomb Squad bat is made with an End-Loaded Swing Weight, which gives the barrel additional weight towards the end cap, giving you more power potential at the plate.

  • Is it normal for this bat to stress in a short period of time, ive had this bat literally for one week with at least 50 swings at most an it has stress lines all around the barrel. Is there a legitmite answer?

  • There are many reasons for a bat to malfunction. Weather, the balls, the amount of people using the bat, the force behind each swing, and sometimes there are just defective bats in the batch. The 2016 Easton Bomb Squad Scott Kirby SP16SKU does come with a one year manufacturer's warranty.
