  • Pros: Bought this bat for my 10 year old son. Incredibly balanced for our first USA approved, 2 5/8 width bat. He used it today at our league winter clinic/practice. Super hot out of the box. By the end of the practice, everyone in the dugout wanted to use it. Ordered the bat on Tuesday, Dec. 12th and selected basic ground shipping. Despite it being the holidays, we received it before the weekend. I will order from Cheap Bats again for sure!!!

  • Pros: OUTSTANDING bat. I have swung nearly every USA bat and this is all you need. Sure, you could pay $100 more for the Solo 618 USA and get a sliiiiggghhtly lighter bat, but barely... Or you could pay $220 more for the Select 718 USA and get this bat with a vibration dampener (I did for my son because I can). The Rawlings Quatro is just as good as the Select 718, but that is $300 as well. The 5150 is nearly identical to the bat. It might be identical performance wise, but I think the Omaha looks just a little better. You won't be disappointed by any of the Louisville or Rawlings this season. And you DON'T need to spend more than $75 on a bat this year. Plain and simple.
  • Cons: None at all.

  • Pros: Great feel and weight. Good size barrel. Solid pop. Bought this for my 11 year old and for a USA bat under $100 it is very impressive. After 40-5- swings in the cage off of live pitching hew really liked it. He said it doesn't have quite the jump compared to his previous bat but it felt very good when singing and when he barreled the baseball. I ordered yesterday and the bat arrived today even with UPS ground, although I live in SD and the bat shipped from Anaheim :)
  • Cons: No cons so far. I didn't want to break the bank year 1 of the USA bats and for the pirce, I don't think you can go wrong with the Omaha 518.

  • Pros: It seems to be as good or better than any USA bat. I don't think any of them deserve a 5-star rating. No sting. Easy to swing. Seems to be weighted as labeled.
  • Cons: The fact that we needed to buy new bats in the first damn place.

  • Pros: Bought for my 11 yr. old son. He tried several different USA approved bats and this one stood out above all. This bat seemed to have as much pop and less vibration than bats costing a lot more.
  • Cons: None at all.

  • Pros: Great bang for the buck! Quality bat with a legit barrel length that won't break the bank. In the sub $100 range you can't even come close to beating this stick. Heck, in the sub $200 range you can't touch this, watch the videos out there, this bat is starting to get recognition as a solid sleeper selection.
  • Cons: It's not a -10, more like a -8.....this annoys me but not enough to drop a star. It still swings with a nice balanced feel but not sure why the manufacturers can continue to get away with the whole weight fallacy. (Others do it too)

  • Pros: Nice size barrel compared to other USA bat I've seen
  • Cons: Bat doesn't have much pop at all and stings my 8 year olds hands almost every swing. He hits a couple and don't want to hit anymore because of the sting.

  • Pros: Nice pop in the bat
  • Cons: Not a -10 for sure more like a -8 or -9. Would love to see it if it was a true -10. Very end loaded

  • Pros: I bought this bat for my 12 y/o daughter who plays intermediate little league baseball. The reviews I read commented that the drop weight is less than -10 which is exactly what I was looking for. This is common across most bat manufacturers. With a 32 inch bat slightly heavier she is lining hit to the gaps and pitchers ducking for cover. The tapered grip is a great feature
  • Cons: All USA bats have less pop than the old standard although still better than wood for most kids

  • Pros: Great bang for the buck. Its not a high dollar bat so we didnt expect high dollar performance but its there. other reviews complain about the weight, so I put it in the scale and it is a -9, 21oz
  • Cons: Its a one piece alloy, if you cant tolerate an occasional hand sting its not for you
