2013 Rip It Prototype Air BBCOR Baseball Bat -3oz B1303A
2013 Rip It Prototype Air Baseball Bat - BBCOR
The freshly revamped Rip It Prototype Air BBCOR bat builds on the success of the Prototype 2 and surpasses it. For 2013, Rip It took four ounces of extra weight out of the end of the bat barrel and designed grooves inside of the bat to make the Prototype Air one of the most advanced BBCOR bats ever produced. This removal of the excess weight in the Rip It Air BBCOR means a faster swing and more power to the baseball of the bat. A bigger sweet spot, thinner barrel walls, and a new, high end R1 aluminum alloy round out the list of upgrades Rip It made to their top of the line BBCOR offering for 2013.
Acoustic BBCOR Barrel - The Rip It Air Prototype barrel is designed to have a massive sweet spot. The improved bat barrel is a game changer for Rip It. Every time you make contact with the new barrel, the ball will go farther and feel better than ever before.
R1 Alloy - The new aluminum alloy used in the new Prototype BBCOR bat is an exclusive blend, created only for Rip It, and is available only in the United States.

Pros: I liked the rip it. I had never tried one before until yesterday. Pop seemed great from the 50 swings I was able to try it. The 30 day money back guarantee is cool and I may pick one up because of that.
Pros: THIS BAT HAS BEEN EXCELLENT, THIS IS MY SON'S FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH A -3 BBCOR BAT, HIS LAST BAT WAS A -8, SO IT HAS BEEN A BIG DIFFERENCE. WITH THE RIP IT PROTOTYPE AIR BAT, WITH IT BEING BALANCED,INSTEAD OF END WEIGHTED, IT HAS ONE OF THE BETTER GRIPS THAT I HAVE SEEN ON A BAT, HE HAS DONE VERY WELL, AND IS HAVING NO PROBLEMS USING THE BAT, EVEN THOUGH HE IS VERY SMALL FOR HIS AGE.
Cons: THERE HAS BEEN NOTHING THAT HE DOES NOT LIKE ABOUT THE BAT.
Pros: My son had to move to -3 bat this year in 7th grade. He was discouraged because he didn't feel like he could handle all the -3 bats he had tried at practice. He researched bats and asked me to buy this one. Because of the 30-day money back guarantee, I agreed. Well, he loves this bat. Apparently it feels much lighter than the other ones he had tried. He is hitting the ball much further than he had previously with his lighter bats. Has a lot of pop. We recommend it.
Pros: This bat has a slight end load like most aluminum bats, but I can definitely swing this faster than my older BBCOR bats because I am getting stronger. The sweet spot feels big after a couple uses.
Pros: The new Rip It Prototype Air is sweet. One of the best bbcor bats of 2013 for sure. It is balanced well, and overall it is just good. The grip feels good, but gets dirty cause it's white. It has a loud ping.
Pros: I got this bat for my son because I heard it had a sweet spot that was the biggest for the 2013 BBCOR. So far my son really likes it and has had an increase in his power numbers.
Absolutely recommend the Rip it!
