The new Ultimate Weapon for slowpitch is not necessarily "new". It is new in the sense that it has sweet new graphics, but it is not new in regards to the construction or design of the bat... That is a good thing!

Demarini has hit a home run with the one piece, all metal design. This strong and durable SC4 alloy gives the softball bat an edge over competitors bats that are made with cheaper, weaker blends of aluminum. 

With the ASA, USSSA 1.20 BPF, NSA, ISA, ISF stamps on the barrel, the Ultimate Weapon is legal for practically every softball league in America.

  • Pros: The one constant throughout slowpitch softball for the last 5 years has to be the DeMarini Ultimate Weapon. No matter if the graphics have changed this is still the best bat out their for my coed league. It gets the job done without breaking the bank. This has to be the only bat I have purchased for the last five years that has been great and never banned from any of the leagues I play in. Being a single piece aluminum bat no umpire throws it out yet I can get the ball deep.

  • Pros: This bat has it all. Great pop straight out of the wrapper, grip feels nice and it is definitely pleasing to the eye. Never had the bat thrown out during a game and most players on the team pick up this bat.

  • Pros: Great single wall aluminum bat. Played with one 6 yrs ago while "retired", liked it then. Came out of "retirement" this last year and a teammate had a new one. Not as much pop as the new high end composites, but can still get the job done, at a price you can afford. They have been around for awhile, and there is a reason. Solid all around bat that won't get thrown out anywhere.

  • Pros: One of the best single wall bats for the money. Great pop in all weather conditions. Myself and other former baseball players swing this balanced bat and hit it just as hard as we would with either steel model.
