The new 2014 Easton S2 big barrel bat is a two-piece design with a composite handle and aluminum barrel.
The scandium alloy barrel has thin walls that are strong and durable. A thin wall that will have more trampoline effect, and give the ball further distance.
The SIC black carbon composite handle is stiff and will not flex as much as other handles do. The stiff handle ensures no loss of energy when the baseball is hit.
The 2014 youth big barrel bats from Easton in the power brigade line come with the new cushion diamond grip, and is the ultimate in comfort when swinging your new bat.
The S2 is part of the Easton speed series bat line. The Easton S2 is more balanced, and is easier to swing then the XL power series lineup.
