The 2014 BBCOR Trio is a 3 piece Composite / 5150 Alloy / Composite design

Starting at the end cap, Rawlings uses the Comp Lite Endcap with approximately 36% more composite fibers than traditional composite. This allows for a lower MOI and lets you swing the bat faster through the hitting zone.

The barrel is made from the incredible 5150 Alloy blend of aluminum. This alloy is Rawlings best performing alloy, and their most durable.

The center of the bat and the handle utilize the Rawlings Trio Technology, an engineering breakthrough consisting of a composite handle to allow for increased handle flex, and alloy barrel with POP Technology for increased swing speed, and a composite Comp Lite Endcap to help the TRIO achieve an even lower swing weight.
