2015 Easton Mako Senior League Baseball Bat -10oz SL15MK10B

Easton didn’t have to change much on the 2015 Mako. This top-selling baseball bat is the cream of the crop when it comes to two-piece models on the market.

The 2015 Easton Mako’s foundation is the Thermo Composite Technology (TCT). Composite material is weaved in a way that produces an ultra-thin and sturdy surface that is extremely lightweight. Swing speeds have been known to increase when a player has the Mako in their hands. This technology gives the batter quality bat control and confidence that they won’t be cheated anytime they make contact with the ball.

Connecting the composite, ultra-thin 29/32” handle of the 2015 Mako is Easton’s patented two-piece ConneXion technolgoy (CXN). The CXN piece dampens vibration and alleviates the hitter from being distracted at the plate when they get jammed or take it off the end of the bat. It also helps to absorb energy before it reaches the handle, redistributing the energy back to the heart of the barrel.

You can find the 2015 Easton Mako in a -9 (2 ⅝” barrel) or a -10 (2 ¾” barrel) right here at Cheapbats.com, where your Batisfaction is Always Guaranteed!

  • Pros: I know what you're thinking - I spent **THAT** much money on a bat and of course I'm going to give it 5 stars so I feel better about my purchase. I'm an analyst by nature and by 25 year career. Analyzing data is my life. The bat is AWESOME. The very first hit my almost 10 year old's eyes nearly popped outta his head. I wasn't able to attend his first practice with the new bat and afterward another parent texted me saying my son hit like a bad-a$$ with the bat and now they were looking into getting one. This is replacing a 27/17 Easton 2-year old S1 and this Mako kicks that one's butt. My son only has about 150 hits on the bat and it takes 200 to break-in and the more you use it the better it gets. With a tournament this weekend I'm anxious to see the bat in action.

  • Pros: This bat has a large sweet spot. My 9yr was having trouble getting ball out of infield. With this bat he is now consistantly hitting shots well into the outfield, with an occasional bomb.

  • Why is the -9 heavier than the -10 what is the difference and witch would have more pop?
  • Asked by James
  • The drop is the difference between the length and the weight which is why the -9 is heavier than the -10. The SL15MK9 (-9oz) is one ounce heavier and has a 2 5/8" diameter barrel while the SL15MK10B has a 2 3/4" diameter barrel. One bat does not have more "pop" than the other, rather they differ in size and certifications. The SL15MK10B will not be Pony approved and only legal for travel ball or club teams as it has the larger barrel diameter.

  • What league is it certified for?
  • Asked by Simons
  • The 2015 Easton Mako Senior League Baseball Bat -10oz SL15MK10B has the 1.15 BPF USSSA stamp and has a 2 3/4" barrel diameter. It's approved for specific leagues, like a travel ball league for example, that allow 2 3/4" barrel diameters.
