2015 Easton Mako Torq BBCOR Baseball Bat -3oz BB15MKT

The Easton Mako Torq is an amazing advancement in hitting technology. This finely tuned performance BBCOR bat offers a brand new special feature to take your game to unprecedented new heights! Easton created a new rotating bat handle, called the 360 Torq Technology, giving you optimum power wherever you hit the ball, even deep in the zone. This innovative technology allows the hands to rotate while holding the bat, essentially speeding up swing speed and increasing the distance of your hits!

The 2-piece all composite Easton Mako Torq is crafted using Thermo Composite Technology, which is an extremely durable material that maximizes the potential each and every swing. Easton also made the Torq with an extended barrel and a massive sweet spot, giving hitters everything they need for championship performance! Another plus is the CXN Technology, the barrel-to-handle connection piece that gives the Torq a 2-piece design, which eliminates sting to the hands for a comfortable feeling upon impact. This allows you to follow through properly without anything holding you back!

Take this to the field in High School and Collegiate levels as it's BBCOR certified!

  • Pros: Torq Handle rotation makes it so easy to have a complete swing. helps my hands rotate more naturally into the palm up, palm down position. Ball flies off the barrel. Vibration is almost non-existent even on miss hits. Sweet green paint job too.
  • Cons: none.

  • Pros: Yes. This bat is legit. I can feel the bat is getting through the zone faster than the regular mako bbcor. Easton has done two demo days with the hit lab at our field and everyone on my team is hitting the ball harder off of the bat.

  • Besides the rotating handle, what is the difference between the mako torq, and the mako?
  • Asked by Gabe
  • The rotating handle will be the difference between the Mako and the Mako Torq.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • I am debating whether to get the 2015 Easton XL1 or the MAKO TORQ. I have always thought the idea of a spinning handle would throw off my swing path and I would lose all power coming from my wrists. However, from reading all of these reviews I am curious. I have been very successful with the XL1 in the past. So what would you suggest: the XL1 which I know will work, or the MAKO TORQ which I have never thought would help me but has helped every one else? Please be objective
  • Asked by Caleb
  • If you are a seasoned player and have mastered the swing, we would recommend the Easton XL1 as you already have experience with it and do not have the issue of rolling over in your swing which is what the Torq is there to help prevent.

  • Do all easton bats feature the sting free elimination feature
  • Asked by juan
  • Great question Juan. Not all of Easton baseball bats will feature the sting free elimination. This feature is offered on their two piece composite barrel bats to the 2015 season.

  • What should I purchase the louisville slugger raid, or the torq
  • Asked by juan
  • The 2015 Easton Mako Torq BBCOR is a brand new technology to the baseball bat industry this year with a 360 degree rotating handle. The Easton Mako Torq BBCOR is Easton's newest top of the line bat this season being a two piece full composite and has the added perk of the rotating handle. The Louisville Slugger Raid is a two piece bat as well with an alloy handle. It comes down to a personal preference of if you like alloy or composite.

  • Is it possible to replace the grip? If so, is it something I could do myself?
  • Asked by Mark
  • You will be able to replace the grip on Easton Mako Torq bats. It will be a little more work than a standard bat grip replacement. You will have to re-grip the spinning Torq piece at the bottom, then proceed to re-grip the remaining part of the handle.

  • is it worth the price?
  • Asked by trevor
  • Only time will tell. Easton feels this bat can revolutionize hitting and is worth every penny. Some say it is the Indian not the arrow while others state you get what you pay for.
