The 2015 Easton Mako Torq youth big barrel is a two-piece bat. Easton’s patented CXN technology connects the handle to the barrel, allowing minimal vibration and redirecting all the energy made at the point of contact back to the massive barrel of the Torq. Both the handle and the barrel are made from their Thermo Composite Technology (TCT). TCT creates a monster sweet spot, and allows the walls of the barrel to be made thinly, creating an easy stick to swing through the zone while still maintaining impressive durability. Mako Torq’s twisting handle is ultra-thin (29/32”) and has their Torq handle gauze grip that also aids in bat control and comfort.
