2015 Louisville Slugger OMAHA 515 BBCOR Baseball Bat -3oz BBO5153

This Omaha 515 is a one piece bat constructed with ST+20 Alloy material in the handle as well as the barrel, which is the strongest alloy in the game. Louisville Slugger also features the Flex Band Technology by inserting a 1"-wide graphite band inside the bat, which increases the strength and power of the sweet spot, without sacrificing the light swing weight! Combine all of this technology and hitters are left with a durable, high-performing, easy to control Slugger ready for the batter's box. This Omaha is also BBCOR Certified​ and approved for play in High School and Collegiate levels.

  • Pros: As a 1st team All State player, who has committed to a D1 school traditionally ranked in the top 10, and probable 2015 draft pick; 1 piece bats provide me with the speed balance I prefer and the "pop" I need. In this area, the 515 is second to none on the market. I switched to this brand and model this season based on the strength and "juice" it displayed this past summer. For the type of hitter I am, with the personal strength I have, the 515 provides me with everything I need, at a price that is unbeatable. 1 piece balance = speed and pop strength = durability and juice price = 1/2 the cost of 1 other bat with equal value.
  • Cons: paint has a tendency to chip. So take care of your tools. Don't throw it on your brick dust walk up, or step on it. Keep it picked up, so your teammates won't do so either.
