2015 Louisville Slugger PRIME 915 BBCOR Baseball Bat -3oz BBP9153

The 2015 Louisville Slugger PRIME 915 BBCOR Bat is equipped with TRU3 technology.  TRU3 is Louisville Slugger's revolutionary three-piece connection technology that strengthens the link between the barrel and handle of the bat for better feel and dramatically reduced vibration. TRU3 gives these bats a trampoline spring effect by redirecting that energy that wants to get to the hands right back into the barrel, which will ultimately increase the power and pop of your hits! The socket and rubber interface results in a bat that’s not only sturdier, but feels better with every swing. In addition to the TRU3 technology, this bat also has a Flex Band in the barrel. The Flex Band is a 1"-wide graphite band that keeps the barrel's walls thin and the swing weight of the bat as low as possible.   • Would the prime 915 or the cf7, both in bbcor, fit me as a contact hitter better? I'm looking for a balanced, lightswing without giving up pop or barrel size.

  • Both the Prime 915 BBCOR and the CF7 BBCOR Baseball Bats for 2015 are made with a Balanced swing weight. I'd say the CF7 may have a slight, slight load feel to it, but it's barely noticeable. If you're a contact hittter, either one of these bats are going to be fine for you. It's honestly going to come down to name brand preference (Louisville Slugger or DeMarini) and whether you like to extra flex the Prime 915 offers with the 3-piece build OR the 2-piece build with the D-Fusion handle that the CF7 provides.
