  • Pros: I love the balance and weight of this bat. I'm still trying to break in the bat, but so far I've been super impressed with it. Haven't hit any over the fence yet, but I have hit the fence a few times already.
  • Cons: The bat is not ASA certified; only ISA certified.

  • Pros: My Freak 12 felt balance and this bat feels a slightly endloaded. Took it out for bp the first day. The bat had a little stiffness but after 50 cuts it spitting fire. I swung shave bats before and this feels like a shave bat. For me this is hotter than the Freak 12 but not hot out the wrapper like the freak 12.
  • Cons: None. Just the price. Bats are expensive.

  • Pros: This bat has a lot out the wrapper. Bought a Freak12 in a 27oz. Which for me is the same bat painted Freak30. Anyways I drop down to a 26oz for more bat control. With my Freak12 I'm crushing the ball. Yeah sounds nice but the league I play doesn't allow HR's. Back to the Freak30. I'm hitting lazer, seeds, hot shots and etc. The is stupid hot even for a slap shots. Very satisfied with is bat. Hope this baby last long.
  • Cons: Its a Freak12 called Freak30

  • Cons: None I have found

  • Pros: This bat is awesome, the first short barrel bat I have ever used that I like. Sweet spot is very big and forgiving. Bat has no flex, my preference. I used this with 12 mush ball debeer's and it killed them.
  • Cons: That I haven't used it in a game yet.

  • Pros: Bat has awesome pop, especially as it breaks in. Next to no vibration in the handle on missed balls. Very satisfying crack sound when you square a ball up. I went from warning track power to hitting about 1 bomb a game (6ft, 190lbs).
  • Cons: Took me a while to adjust to the barrel. Anything hit on the lower half of the barrel near where the handle joins seems to die while anything hit near the middle to end of the bat really flies. I stepped away from the plate about 2 inches and that made all the difference.

  • Pros: I bought this bat after swinging a teamates that had many swings on it. I've never swong a bat with so much pop. I purchased this soon after and I am very happy it's hot out of the wrapper. Since i bought my freak, i think half my team has also purchased them.
  • Cons: So much pop its hard to keep em in the park after you hit your HR limit.

  • Pros: This is a beautiful bat. Used this thing in a game fresh out of the wrapper and it has got some serious pop for sure, a little stiff but that's to be expected with a brand new stick. The second ball off the bat I drilled off the fence at 300 feet. The stock Miken grip is a nice quality but I prefer a thicker handle so put on a matching knob cuff, tennis wrap and a lizard skin. I bought a 26oz and I was expecting the endload to make the bat feel heavier especially with the 12" barrel but it swings surprisingly light and balanced in a great way. I am very pleased with the bat so far and I feel some bombs coming my way this season.
  • Cons: This bat is so pretty I want to set it down ever so gently on the ground when I hit the ball. No bat flips yet but I'll get over it soon enough.

  • Pros: A lot of pop straight out of the wrapper. Very impressed with this bat.
  • Cons: I bought the 24oz an it didn't have enough weight behind it. It still felt good swinging it but I just couldn't get comfortable with it so, I bought the same bat at 27oz an the difference is crazy I'm a little guy about 160lbs an I originally thought maybe I can be more of a base hitter with the 24oz but I was wrong. The 27oz is perfect for me.

  • Pros: Not sure how to rate this bat. My first freak30 was hitting the ball so hard and so far right out of the wrapper and then on swing 40 or so it cracked in half. I was so impressed with the bat for 10 mins and then devastated when it broke. I sent it back to Miken and got a return bat, and it turned out to be a DUD! I put over 200 swings on it, and it didnt seem to change very much at all from swing #1. I got so frustrated with it, i sold it.
  • Cons: Questionable durability...

  • Pros: Hot bat out of the wrapper after 25 cut on fire hitting 350 shots. The ball jumps off this bat. I was skeptical about the 12" barrel but I cant tell any difference. Everyone on the team wants to swing it. THANKS MIKEN keep up the great work on making bats like this.

  • Pros: This bat is hot! Right out of the wrapper! I've had a lot of different bats and this one is my favorite. The balance is great and has extreme pop. You can't beat the price either! I have the freak 12 and the D.C. 41 and the 30 is the one to get.
  • Cons: Not one thing

  • Pros: Miken knocked this one out of the park! Bat was great out of the wrapper, hit a few balls and then played a game using it. The entire team loved it, even had some try to buy it from me. Great bat for a man or woman. Good job Miken!

  • It depends on which DC-41 bat you are referring to. The DENCMA (ASA version) is made for the .52/300 ball while the DENCMU (USSSA version) is made for the .42/375 ball.
