Mizuno constructs the Nighthawk BBCOR Bat as a hybrid with a half and half construction, combining a Single Wall Aluminum Alloy Barrel with a Composite Handle to increase flex and lower MOI. MOI stand for "Moment of Inertia", and when you have a lower MOI on a bat it gives you more bat control and faster swing speed. Mizuno incorporates the Variable Wall Thickness Technology by adjusting the wall thickness in various locations throughout the barrel to increase overall performance and give you a bigger, more massive sweet spot area. The Alloy Barrel is going to give off a great ping sound and will be ready to drop bombs right out of the wrapper.
