  • Pros: Got the 2018 AXE Origin 2 5/8" USA 28" for my 9 year old and with the drop of -8 the bat feels really light. Very comfortable to hold and swing. His bat speed visibly increased instantly. He just had his 1st practice and game in a fundamentals league and got compliments about how good his swing mechanics looked from 3 coaches that had never seen him before. Also got the 2019 AXE Origin 2 1/4" USA 29" with a -10 drop. My son loves them both but prefers the 2 5/8" because of the bigger barrel. I would recommend AXE bats for everyone..
