Pros: This bat is very well balanced. My 7 year old's swing leveled off noticeably when I put this bat in his hands and this was a 2in bump up from his previous bat. The bat has incredible spring when you hit the sweet spot. Said sweet spot is significantly smaller than the previous generation of bats, but what can you do. We've been letting some of his teammates swing the bat and almost all of them have seen significant improvement in their swings and power.
Cons: Due to the changes to meet the USA Baseball requirements, the sweet spot on this new generation of bats is much smaller. The price on this bat is also a bit steep, but the that's to be expected for the brand and a full composite bat.

Pros: The Hyperlite is one of the only true drop -10 or -11 bats available. Most of the new USA bats are really drop 9s or 8s. It seems to get worse the shorter you go. Some of the hybrid bats are very over weight since they only shrink down the handle section to reduce the overall bat length. The HL feels similar to my kid's old Combat Maxum -12 except that the balance point is about an inch closer to the end cap. We haven't hit it yet, but I don't expect it to be a big bomb dropper. It's meant to be light swinging. It will be a good incremental jump from the Maxum,
Cons: The price is a little steep for a one piece composite bat. They'll probably get cheaper after the first wave of purchases for 2018, If this bat is anything like the Combat it's replacing, it will buzz the hands on mis-hits.

Pros: Purchased for my 9 YO...on the shorter side. Moved up from a 28 drop 11 to a 29 drop 11. The bat has so much more pop then the aluminum Rawlings drop 11 we were using. The bat is exceeding our expectations and can't wait for the spring season to start
Cons: None that I can think of other then price, but we purchased it late 2018 and got it at a discount

Pros: Bat seemed great but was to long so I sold it to a boy on our team who's a little bigger and can swing it better. He hits really good with it and loves the bat! I ordered the same bat just shorter.
Cons: Only real con I can think of is that the bat scuffs very easily.
