  • Pros: The Rawlings Prodigy is a baseball bat built for players who want to elevate their game. The Prodigy is nothing less than greatness. It uses 5150 alloy, is BBCOR certified, and is lightweight with a very sleek design. Since I am a high school baseball player, I can assure you that this is the bat that you want to choose for almost all levels. The Rawlings Prodigy is at the level of the Rawlings Velo, and the 5150, but the difference is that the Prodigy is at a lower price point of 100 dollars. But don’t let the low price fool you, with all of the same features as the top bats but a lower price, you really get the most bang for your buck. Since I started using it, my game has definitely gotten better. I’ve seen leaps in my power, my batting average has jumped from .381 to .421, and my overall approach at the game of baseball has gotten much better. I’ve had it for about 5 months and have used it in all types of weather and the outcome is always great. The Prodigy has that pop and has that nice ringing sound that kids like because it assures them of a good piece of hitting. With the Prodigy in my hands, I feel confident approaching the plate. If you want to feel confident at the plate and want a great affordable bat with all the bells and whistles I suggest the Rawlings Prodigy BBCOR baseball bat.
