  • Pros: According to my 12 year old, this bat has lots of pop! Great thin but padded grip that doesn't twist in your hands. Description says well balanced but my son says it's more end loaded than the 2018 version.
  • Cons: We will see how durable it is over the season. My son broke the 2018 barrel completely off near the end.

  • Pros: As compared to 2018 model, this bat feels like it generates more pop. It has better graphic than 2018 model. My son hit about 50+ off tee and 200 live pitches. He claims ZERO bat sting on mishit (just like 2018 model). This bat feels slightly ended loaded as compared to well balanced 2018 model. Per my son, this bat feel slightly heavier than 2018 model, but it swings light. My son is 9 with above average strength and height playing 30/20.
  • Cons: Durability is still BIG concern. We received this bat under the warranty. Our 2018 bat cracked before the season ended and Rawlings sent newer version as replacement. They claimed that they re-engineered the barrel for better durability as they acknowledged quality issue with 2018 bat. So, we will see how long this bat will last. Since my son likes this bat so much, he will practice with his Select 718 and play game with this bat for more pop. This bat swings heavier than 20 oz (at least how we felt). So, this may not be the right bat for weak player.
