CLOSEOUT DeMarini Bustos Fastpitch Softball Bat -13oz. WTDXBFP-14

Crystal Bustos is a two-time Olympic gold medalist with a passion for excellence. That's why she helped DeMarini design a bat that's high performance and durability are unmatched for the price. DeMarini's Bustos Fastpitch bat is constructed from DX1 Alloy that delivers the perfect balance of high KSI strength and fracture toughness for a lifetime of durability. Though this is a one-piece alloy bat, the handle is strengthened through the use of Fiber Reinforced Composite (FRC). The FRC handle eliminates vibration and hand sting to give hitters some added assurance on inside hits. DeMarini's revolutionary Half and Half Technology allows the barrel and the handle to work together to create the optimum flex before impact and recoil to deliver a burst of ball launching energy at impact. As with all DeMarini bats, the Bustos Fastpitch bat is marked with a Rotation Index to remind players to rotate their bat every time up. This creates an even break-in and ultimately extends the life of the bat.  With a 13 ounce weight drop, the Bustos is designed to help youth players get their barrel through the zone as fast as possible for maximum performance!  Not too many people can hit a ball quite as far as Crystal Bustos, but with this Bustos design, you certainly have a heightened chance! The Bustos comes with a 12 month manufacturer's warranty and is approved for play by USSSA, ASA, NSA, ISA and ISF.

  • Pros: The -13 is great for younger players. Nice balanced bat that has a lot of pop. My 10u daughter has been swinging the Bustos line for 2 years now. Just bought the 2014 model in a bigger size. She loves it!!
  • Cons: None. Be ready to share this bat. It is a dugout favorite. 3-4 girls on her team like to use it.

  • Pros: This bat is perfect for my daughter! She plays travel ball and we could not quite afford a $349 CF8, so we went for the Bustos after reading good reviews on it. The first day my daughter had the bat she hit a line drive home run. I asked her how it feels and she said "it feels good" haha. Not much from her, but she is hitting very well with it.

  • Pros: Based on the price of this bat, the value your getting is unparallel. I wanted my 11 yr. old daughter a quality bat that reduces negative feedback on miss hits. Gladly, this bat has done that and more. The large sweet spot partnered with the lightness makes a this a great bat for any type of hitter. Demarini's from cheapbats.com, it doesn't get any better than that.

  • Pros: Lightweight. My daughter needed something that she could get around quicker. She is 12 and I bought her initially a 32", 21 oz Easton, which she loves, but I could tell her bat speed was not there. With this -13 she has more bat speed and more confidence.
  • Cons: None, seems like a solid bat, especially for the money.
