  • Pros: My son had been using a 28 inch -10.5 DeMarini Vexxum with good results. He began borrowing a friend's 28 inch -10 Marucci CAT 6, with even better results. He begged me to buy him a CAT 6, but, because he is switching from coach pitch to kid pitch, I went out on a limb and bought him a 29 inch -10 Marucci Hex Alloy. The transition from 28 to 29 really turned out to be a non-event, and he's crushing the ball. The bat has great balance, feel, and pop. I would highly recommend this bat, particularly for a player who has had good results with the CAT 6 and who is either moving from coach pitch to kid pitch and/or wants a longer bat.

  • Both bats are almost the same. They are of the same style just of different brands. It will come down to if you prefer Louisville Slugger or Marucci.
