2012 DeMarini CF5 BBCOR Baseball Bat

The New BBCOR DeMarini CF5 bat from Demarini uses an all new Tri Strut TR3 Composite Barrel - Somewhere you may recall learning how crystal structures are perfectly created in triangle formations, making them the strongest and most stable compounds. No? Well it’s true. The triangle formation at the molecular level of the composite provides a perfect fixed ratio of sides and angles, making it strong, stable and predictable without adding any unnecessary weight to the CF5 barrel. The DeMarini CF5 baseball bat has been engineered to be the most durable, light feeling BBCOR baseball bat on the market. The CF5 is quite simply, the best BBCOR bat for 2012. A DeMarini CF5 baseball bat is what happens when perfection and science meet. The DeMarini CF5 has the largest sweetspot of any DeMarini BBCOR bat, early feedback says the new CF5 BBCOR hits as well as last year's CF4 BESR bat, and if you have hit a BBCOR bat you know that is a big deal. Unlike almost every other BBCOR bat on the market, DeMarini did not have to put a ring inside the barrel of the CF5 to make it pass the BBCOR test. Instead, the engineers at the DeMarini composite lab in Hillsboro, Oregon were able to make the DeMarini CF5 the lightest feeling BBCOR bat after a massive amount of research and development. Unlike every other composite baseball bat on the market, DeMarini makes it's composite bats here in the USA. DeMarini is able to make a prototype one day and test it the next. What takes DeMarini days takes other bat makers months, and it shows. DeMarini has put together the most powerful line up of baseball bats seen in a long time. When you swing a DeMarini, you know you are getting a bat made from years of development, not just what the factory in China comes up with this year.

Tri Strut TR3 Composite Handle - The molecular structure of the composite handle is designed to efficiently transition power from your hands to the barrel giving you balance and consistency in every swing.

Geo Endcap - The dual density internal cap on the new 2012 Demarini CF5 is full of load balancing triangles. It's designed to maintain the stiffness of the barrel while dampening impact vibration to give you amazing feel, shot after shot.

2012 DeMarini CF5 BBCOR Baseball Bat Features:

  • Geo Cap Is An Internal End Cap That Keeps The Barrel Stiff, Reduce Vibration And Increase Consistency
  • TR3 Strut Composite Is New For 2012 And The Strongest And Lightest Composite Ever Used In A Baseball Bat
  • Doublewall Barrel Design Makes The CF5 Barrel Into A Springboard With The Most Trampoline On The Market
  • Doublewall Design Gives The Batter The Largest Sweetspot Of Any DeMarini Bat Ever
  • Half + Half Technology Brings A Separate Handle And Barrel Together To Prevent Vibration
  • BBCOR Certified For High School & College Play
  • One Year Warranty Against Manufacturing Defects

  • Pros: my hitting coach let me use this bat during a lesson and I loved it. Right now I'm using the Rawlings 5150 great bat just last week I hit one 400ft with it but the Cf5 seemed like it had more pop, better balance, grip is great, and the ping off the bat.

  • Pros: I used my friends 32/29 CF5 and it is sick. I may go with a Demarini Voodoo just because that is what I can afford. The ball jumps off the bat on both the Voodoo and CF5 so I will still be happy.

  • Pros: The DeMarini CF5 for 2012 is the most balanced BBCOR bat out. The sweet spot is huge and I rarely ever feel like I miss the baseball. I can definitely get around better on inside fastballs with the CF5. The Voodoo is a little more end loaded.

  • Review by: Chase
  • Pros: Great bat and for $145 its a no brainer. I'm a freshmen in high school so this is my first bbcor bat and there is a huge difference in pop compared to my old CF4. I've been hitting off the tee and going to the cages to break it in and it has great pop compared to my friends bbcors. Bottom line is this is one of demarinis best bats for $145 and its completely worth it. Very well balanced too.
  • Cons: Only problem is the vibrations. You better hit it on the sweet spot (which is huge) if you dont want vibrations.
