The freshly revamped Rip It Prototype Air BBCOR bat builds on the success of the Prototype 2 and surpasses it. For 2013, Rip It took four ounces of extra weight out of the end of the bat barrel and designed grooves inside of the bat to make the Prototype Air one of the most advanced BBCOR bats ever produced. This removal of the excess weight in the Rip It Air BBCOR means a faster swing and more power to the baseball of the bat. A bigger sweet spot, thinner barrel walls, and a new, high end R1 aluminum alloy round out the list of upgrades Rip It made to their top of the line BBCOR offering for 2013.
