The Combat Portent SL110 is stamped for USSSA league. Do you know if it is legal for play in any of the divisions of Dixie Youth Leagues? The bat doesn't have a bbcor stamp on it, does that matter?

The bat rule for Dixie Youth Leagues will be determined on which age you are playing in. The SL110 Portent will NOT be legal as the new rules for 2014 state a composite barrel bat must be BBCOR approved.

Combat's new 2014 Portent Senior Youth Baseball bat is certified with the industry standard BPF 1.15 test, with an accelerated break-in (ABI). With this Senior Youth bat Combat has lowered the barrel wall stiffness for an enlarged sweet spot using their Localized Stiffness Technology.

Pros: I used this bat in practice and its really awesome. My teammate just got it and I had to have a round with it. I noticed it had a ton of pop and the ball was just taking off the bat. The barrel is huge and has a massive sweet spot. I love the grip and one-piece composite feel. There was absolutely no sting what so ever. I hope I'm able to get my hands on this bat in the future. I had a blast using it. I recommend it to anyone looking for a big barrel bat. In all, its really awesome!!!!
Cons: The only con is that I don't have one yet!!!
