CLOSEOUT Rip-It Helium BBCOR Baseball Bat -3oz B1503H

Filled with Helium, not hype.

The Helium BBCOR from Rip-It represents a complete redesign of how high performing bats are crafted. Rip-It constructs the Helium BBCOR with what they call a "Five Piece Design". The "Five Piece" is referring to the knob, taper, handle, barrel & end cap, where the perfect amount of compressed helium gas is placed inside inflatable chambers throughout those 5 pieces of the bat. This is going to decrease MOI, increase swing speed and enhance trampoline effect in the barrel at the point of impact. The increased swing speed makes the Helium perfect for contact hitters who hit line drives and want great control of their bat. Made as a Limited Edition, there are only 5,000 models being distributed in the United States in 2015.

This Helium BBCOR is certified for High School and College play. Get yours today, right here at!

  • Pros: I bought the helium bat 33" bbcor for my son in high school. He his last bat was the 32" bbcor Rip It Air which he had since 8th grade. He loves the Rip Its as they are so balanced. The Helium continues this. He definitely feels more pop on the ball due to more alloy. We have only been hitting indoors for the last month but the ball is really flying off the bat. even though we added an inch to the bat, his bat speed is still great. He has a teamate with a 33" mako and his brother uses a CF6 and this bat feels like it has more pop.

  • Pros: This bat has A LOT of pop. Very hot right away. It's probably the best aluminum bat I have ever used. Not sure how the Helium is incorporated into the bat but it sure seems to be a factor. Thank you cheapbats!
  • Cons: If the ball isn't hit right on the sweet spot you do feel sting

  • Pros: I hit a ball with this bat and it hissed at me. I think I knocked the gas out of it but the ball went far. As I ran to first I sang, slipping into darkness.
  • Cons: Hisses like a snake. I don't like snakes.

  • When will you guys get more of these bats or your not selling them anymore ?
  • Asked by ghost
  • The 2015 RIP-IT Helium BBCOR Baseball Bat -3oz B1503H is a limited edition bat. Rip-It only made 5,000 models to distribute. If more became available then we would do our best to get them in stock ASAP.

  • Hopefully, if available, we will get some more 2015 RIP-IT Helium BBCOR Baseball Bat -3oz B1503H in stock. I cannot give you a "date expected" though as it all depends on whether Rip-It makes more of these Limited Edition Helium BBCOR bats available.

  • Smaller framed hitter. high school play. how is this bat compared to CF7? Also if RIP- IT bat gets listed as non useable is there a return policy?
  • Asked by Carlson
  • The Rip-It Helium BBCOR Baseball Bat will be a balanced bat, so if you're a contact hitter it should be a great bat for you. If you want to compare the Helium to the DeMarini CF7, they are both built very differently. The Helium is going to be the hotter bat with the helium technology and the alloy that it's built with. But the CF7 is made 100% composite and comes with the superior D-Fusion handle. It's going to come down to what you prefer and what you think helps your game the most. As for the return policy, it is currently approved by NFHS and NCAA with the BBCOR Certified stamp. However, if the bat were to become non-approved at some point, Rip-It SHOULD have a 30 day recall. The recall would give you the opportunity to send it back to them for an approved bat as an even trade.

  • explain the 5 piece construction and how does this bat compare to the 2015 air elite rip-it also why only 5000 in the U.S.A ?
  • Asked by Logan
  • 5-Piece Design - It's not a 5-Piece bat, but the term 5-Piece Design in this instance is referring to the compressed helium filled inside of inflatable chambers from the knob all the way to the end cap (knob, taper, handle, barrel, end cap). Comparison to Air Elite - It comes down to preference as they both are 2-piece bats made for contact hitters at the same price point. The Helium is a 100% Alloy bat but the Helium technology gives you extra pop and trampoline in the barrel. The Air Elite is a Hybrid, combining composite in the handle and alloy in the barrel, giving you reduced sting/vibration along with a more optimized feel. Limited Edition - The Helium technology isn't something that's common so Rip-It probably wanted to give it a test run to develop the market before they make more models next year.
