DSP (Dura-Soft Polymer) batting grip was created based off the highly successful DSP handlebar tape for road bikes. Utilizing our knowledge and experience in developing grips, Lizard Skins designed and created this new innovative batting tape for baseball and softball players.

  • Pros: Lizard Skin bat grip is amazing. It feels awesome and I could only find the color I wanted here. I didn't even know Major League Baseball players could use bat grips, but Bryce Harper and John Buck are both using Lizard Skins on their bat.

  • Pros: First off, all the colors. You can literally customize it how you want. Secondly, the grippyness of it is just like some factory grips, if not better. And lastly, the glue on the back is very sticky.
  • Cons: It's a little long, so you have to cut it at an angle to get it to lay flat where you want. But really, that's no big deal.

  • That's just something that is a personal preference. The .5mm is the thinnest, the 1.1mm is medium, and the 1.8mm is the thickest of the Lizard Skins bat grips.

  • The thickness of the original DeMarini CF6 bat grip will be thicker than the 1.8mm grip that Lizard Skin offers. Unfortunately you will not be able to purchase a Lizard Skin with the same thickness as the CF6 and will have to use the 1.8mm which is slightly thinner than the stock grip.
