2014 Easton S2 Youth Bat

The 2014 youth Easton S2 Bat is a TWO-PIECE BAT with a THT100 Scandium Alloy barrel and a SIC Black Carbon Composite handle. The Scandium Alloy Barrel gives this bat an expanded sweet spot and greater durability. Easton's patented two-piece ConneXion technology maximizes the energy transfer and gives this bat a really great feel.

  • Pros: Drop 13 weight ratio provides smaller players the ability to generate significant bat speed!
  • Cons: Two-piece ConneXion technology has failed multiple times on the YB13S2 bats purchased. One year warranty ensures replacement within coverage period, but several replacement bats shipped failed also. Defective design? I love the Easton bats, but this CXN method has me looking at other bat types for my team.

  • Pros: If you're looking for base hits I would definitely refer this bat to you. Very light which makes it easy to get the bat on the ball.
  • Cons: Doesn't feel like it has as much power as other bats. If you're looking for a lot of home runs I wouldn't use this bat.
